A future-classic-retro-modern hit parade, the boys tweaked their con­trols to the max on this club cer­ti­fied disco jam. Futur­is­tic, yet lov­ingly tip­ping its hat to the good old days of the disco gen­er­a­tion, this refresh­ing and intensely uplift­ing feel-good tune is not one you’ll for­get in a hurry!

French electro-smash god Kris Men­ace turns in his remix on the flip­side, tweak­ing out the orig­i­nal and inject­ing a fair amount of elec­tronic funk into pro­ceed­ings. Com­plete with a rather epic break and a siz­zling, sexy vibe, Kris’ mix is sure to please and keep on pleasing…!

Also included with the digital version of the release is Marc Deal's tough and strong handed 'Dirty Deal' Mix. Pumping, phasing and soaring through the speakers like a runaway dance train on overdrive, its another big addition to the package.

Black Van brings together the talents and vision of two well-known electronic producers: Kris Menace, whose Discopolis and other releases obtained dancefloor ubiquity, and who has remixed a list of notable names, including Depeche Mode, Royksopp, AIR, Underworld and LCD Soundsystem, and KoweSix, one half of the "all-night-dance-party" DJ duo Moonbootica, whose own remix credits include such diverse names as Mando Diao, Junkie XL and Adam Freeland. This exciting collaboration has yielded an impressive debut single for DFA that combines these two heavyweights' unique musical sensiblities and love of dance music.

"Yearning" takes from both old and new, combining classic, straight-forward electronics in a fresh, new composition. It's all shimmering keys, four-on-the-floor beats and steady bass; the song only stops to take its breath for a few seconds, when all the elements fall out and then slowly rebuild, turning into a sonic supernova of crystalline synths.

Flip the record to hear the Emperor Machine remix that graces Side B. It strips things down, then adds alien lasers, funky guitars and electro-bass, old-skool keys and primal percussion tambourines, cowbells and such to the sound. At its least restless moments, the track settles comfortably into a funk groove and rides it until its natural end before breaking out or breaking down into a percussion-driven rhythm. From Side A to B, the song has been completely transformed and is nearly un-Earthly at its most intense, full-fledged stride.

Moonbootica's style DJ koweSix has teamed up with Hamburg based urban couture designer Silke Wilhelm to create a synergy of fashion, perfume and music. The outcome is an outstanding double cd compilation that is a musical reflection of the two eau de parfums created by Silke Wilhelm and koweSix: Lucent & Embrace. An experience of a personal collection of highly tasteful lounge, electronic and house music. The elaborate box comes with samples of the fragrances and will be released the 15th of February on it's own label Conte De Conteur.

Work it Baby is one of the last remaining and most famous French House Labels around.It was founded in 2000 by world-renowned Producer and DJ, Kris Menace, who initially started the label to release tracks for his friends. He has since also started the hugely successful Compuphonic label.

Over the last 10 Years Work it Baby has built up a strong reputation after nurturing artists like Fred Falke, Patrick Alavi, Lifelike, Charlie Fanclub, Serge Santiago’s Trilogyyy and Jaunt. One of the exclusive tracks featured on their recent and fabulous "Save The Night!" mix compilation, Moonbootica‘s "The Ease" is the next bomb to drop on Moonbootique Recordings. Throwing massive house, tough electronic disco and tweaked out filter action into a giant melting pot of peak time perfection, "The Ease" grabs our attention with sharp, tightly tuned drums leading towards a monster party bassline that flies through several tense climaxes. Peaking, big-stlye disco throwdowns a-plenty!

Fukkk Offf‘s tough remix raises the bar with chunky,bass-heavy drums, and a more sinister groove that leans towards the maximal end of the spectrum. Still peaking, still party, this more acidic version shows off the extreme virtues of Fukkk Offf as a remixer!

Dada Life‘s electro‘d up version lifts the bassline madness up into space with a stunning re-interpretation that sees the climbing sequence replayed on some thick analogue synths for extra electronic delight. Watch out for the break it‘ll knock your socks off.

Finally Chris Krawall‘s brash remix really breaks all the boundaries with a positively huge and might we say genius interpretation of Moonbootica‘s original. Dirty, cut up and re-sampled beats lead the way towards an electro-gothic break that‘ll have any dancefloor in raptures in no time.
