Wir danken für Eure Anteilnahme und verstehen natürlich auch Eure Enttaeuschung.
Nachdem sich der Gesundheitszustand unseres Freundes mehr und mehr stabilisiert hat, haben wir lange abgewogen,
wie wir mit der Situation, Eurer und auch unsere Enttäuschung, am besten umgehen.

Dear fans and friends,
a team is only as strong as its weakest link, but the consequences have to be borne by all. Sadly!

Due to the sudden and serious illness of our friend, partner and producer of the Moonbootique party series in Hamburg, it is with a heavy heart that we are obliged to cancel the event scheduled for 10.12.2011 in the Lauritzhalle!

Fully aware that it has been 9 months since the last Hamburg appearance and in light of the wonderful location, this has not been an easy step to take, but the high standards we have set for our Hamburg home base remain our top priority, offering you exceptional events - never forget where you come from!!!!

As things stand, we do not feel that we can carry out the event as planned.

Our thoughts are first and foremost with the family of our dear friend.
We wish them the strength to get through these difficult times.

ein Team ist immer nur so stark wie sein schwächstes Glied, die Konsequenzen müssen Alle gemeinsam tragen. Leider!

Aufgrund von plötzlicher, schwerer Krankheit unseres langjährigen Freundes, Partners und Produzenten der hauseigenen Moonbootique-Veranstaltungsreihe in Hamburg, sehen wir uns schweren Herzens gezwungen unsere Veranstaltung am 10.12.2011 in der Lauritzhalle abzusagen!

Im Bewusstsein unserer 9 monatigen Hamburg-Abstinenz und im Hinblick auf die wundervolle Location ist uns dieser Schritt wahrlich nicht leicht gefallen, aber bei allem steht und stand immer der Anspruch an die eigene Veranstaltungsreihe im Vordergrund, um unserer Homebase Hamburg einen Event der Sonderklasse zu bieten - Vergiss nie wo du herkommst !!!!

Unter den gegeben Umständen, sehen wir uns jedoch nicht im Stande die Veranstaltung ordnungsgemäß zu produzieren und final durchzuführen.

Unser Mitgefühl gilt nun in erster Linie der Familie und den engsten Angehörigen unseres Freundes.
Wir wünschen Ihnen die notwendige Kraft diese schweren Zeiten zu überstehen.

Hard to believe, but an incredible nine months have passed since the Moonbootica gents
made their last appearance in our beautiful Hanseatic city.

Their unavoidably full diary is, however, only one of the reasons for their lengthy absence.
Another reason would be that only the best location would suffice.

Compromise is not in Moonbootica's vocabulary, hence the seemingly interminable wait for an actual date!
Happily, the cat is now in the bag and, although it has taken a while, it has been worth it.

On 10.12.2011 koweSix & tobitob invite us to a rendevous in the former "Auktionshaus Lauritz",
a spectacular location right on the harbour.
It doesn't get any better than this.

Nicely warmed up by our Bboys from Okai, Moonbootica will be ready to rock at last.
With a heavy dose of base and debut outings for elements of their long-awaited new album,
whose title "our disco is louder than yours" leaves little room for misunderstandings.

To underline their stance even more boldly, the guys have invited old friend and companion Andi Meid,
better known as D.I.M, to join them.
One of the driving forces of the "Boysnoize Records" Überlabel, he has already revealed the full extent
of his talent and passion to the crowd. Enough of the platitudes, we're looking forward to it. Be sure to get there early!!!!

Man will es eigentlich nicht glauben, unfassbare neun Monate sind vergangen,
seitdem die Herren Moonbootica ihren letzten Antritt in unserer schönen Hansestadt hatten.
Ihr obligatorisch voller Terminplan ist allerdings nur einer der Gründe für die lange Abstinenz.

Ein anderer wäre noch der hohe Anspruch an die Location.
Kompromisse sind Moonbooticas Sache nicht und so hat es eben eine halbe Ewigkeit gedauert, einen Termin einzutüten!
Jetzt endlich ist die Sache aber wasserdicht und, wie sollte es anders sein, das Warten hat sich gelohnt:

Am 10.12.2011 bitten uns koweSix & tobitob im einmaligen "Auktionshaus Lauritz" zum Rendevouz.
Direkt am Hafen in Traumkulisse, besser dürfte schwierig werden.
Nach smartem WarmUp unseres Bboys des Hauses Okai, werden Moonbootica endlich wieder Kante zeigen.

Mit viel Bass und ersten Proben ihres langersehnten neuen Albums,
dessen Titel "our disco is louder than yours" wenig Raum für Interpretationen lässt.
Um diese Haltung gleich noch FETT zu unterstreichen haben die beiden ihren alten Bekannten & Weggefährten Andi Meid,
besser bekannt als D.I.M, eingeladen.

Das Zugpferd des Überlabels "Boysnoize Records" hat uns ja bereits das ganze Kontingent seines Könnens

As you might guess from the name, this track samples the big 80s hit "When Will I Be Famous" by Bros.!It took quite some time to get the approval to use the original sample, but we are happy we finally made it! Hamburg based DJ and producer Cram delivers 2 versions by himself, one electro styled peak time mix and a more relaxed deep mix. But there is also a very eclectic remix package on board: Stefano Noferini (Toolroom Rec., Defected Rec., Spinnin, Stealth Rec., CR2 etc.), one of the highest demanded remixers of the moment, drops an irresistible funky tech-house monster - kind of simple (in a positive way) but highly effective on the floor! As so often in history the best things happened by lucky accidents: When Holy Ghost! first heard
Black Van’s (Kris Menace and Kowesix) single “Yearning“ they noticed that is has the same tempo
and key as their song “I Will Come Back“. Two six packs of ale later the first Holy Ghost! Black Van
Mash Up was born, with the instrumental of “Yearning“ and the vocals of “I Will Come Back“ on top.
Both, Black Van and Holy Ghost!, were so thrilled by the result, that they planned to work on an
original song together. Originally the vocal version of “Moments Of Excellence“ was supposed to
come out on the first Black Van EP for Permanent Vacation, but due schedule problems it didn’t

Sometimes life deals you a bum hand. Not this time. DIRTY DEAL are back at the table with one, two, three tricks up their sleeves. The project is a collaboration of Marc Deal (producer and remixer, one half of Maniax, vocalist of Moonbootica) and studio wizard Tobi Tob of Moonbootica. Together they have produced idiosyncratic but functional music mixing Techno, Electro and House and coming out with a unique blend of electronic music. Moonbootica have a history of selecting especially fine guest DJs, as we all know, and the Swiss pair, currently releasing great music on  "Made To Play", most definitely fall into the "extra special" category. Nach einem gediegenen WarmUp unserer Freunde von Assoto Sounds werden Moonbootica die Hütte in altbekannter Manier lautstark anzünden, um sie dann anschließend von den beiden Berner Eidgenossen, den "RoundTable Knights", sachlich abreissen zu lassen. Dass Moonbootica immer ein besonderes Händchen bei der Wahl ihrer Gast-DJs haben, wissen wir alle. Die beiden Schweizer, die aktuell auf "Made To Play" große Musik releasen, bilden im Punkt Besondersheit absolut keine Ausnahme.

"Yearning" takes from both old and new, combining classic, straight-forward electronics in a fresh, new composition. It's all shimmering keys, four-on-the-floor beats and steady bass; the song only stops to take its breath for a few seconds, when all the elements fall out and then slowly rebuild, turning into a sonic supernova of crystalline synths.

Flip the record to hear the Emperor Machine remix that graces Side B. It strips things down, then adds alien lasers, funky guitars and electro-bass, old-skool keys and primal percussion tambourines, cowbells and such to the sound. At its least restless moments, the track settles comfortably into a funk groove and rides it until its natural end before breaking out or breaking down into a percussion-driven rhythm. From Side A to B, the song has been completely transformed and is nearly un-Earthly at its most intense, full-fledged stride.

The weather played havoc with our travel plans at the weekend.
A snowstorm in Hamburg led to all flights being cancelled on Friday,
thus making it impossible for us to get to Nuremberg to play in the Rakete.
We will do everything we can to reschedule the gig as soon as possible.

One of the exclusive tracks featured on their recent and fabulous "Save The Night!" mix compilation, Moonbootica‘s "The Ease" is the next bomb to drop on Moonbootique Recordings. Throwing massive house, tough electronic disco and tweaked out filter action into a giant melting pot of peak time perfection, "The Ease" grabs our attention with sharp, tightly tuned drums leading towards a monster party bassline that flies through several tense climaxes.
