Hamburg, St. Pauli based artist duo “Straßenkoeter” is currently prepar ing their big show room for VIVA CON AGUA at Melt Festival with a great line-up of artist por traits from the music scene.
They already worked with artists such as: Redman, Grandmaster Flash, Ghost Face Killah, Deichkind, Peter Fox, Seelig, Mouse on Mars,The Crookers, Talib Kweli, Dilated People etc.
All their art work will be shown on 13th edition of Melt Festival on July 16th — 18th 2010 followed by vernissages and finis­sages in Hamburg and Berlin where all their work will be sold for a good cause!

Daniel Josefsohn's successful exhibition draws to a close, some of his works are still on show and Videoking will be providing moving images of the highest order.
Moonbootique cardholders will have priority access in the event of capacity attendance, but this does not extend to actual guarantee of entry.

"Yearning" takes from both old and new, combining classic, straight-forward electronics in a fresh, new composition. It's all shimmering keys, four-on-the-floor beats and steady bass; the song only stops to take its breath for a few seconds, when all the elements fall out and then slowly rebuild, turning into a sonic supernova of crystalline synths.

Flip the record to hear the Emperor Machine remix that graces Side B. It strips things down, then adds alien lasers, funky guitars and electro-bass, old-skool keys and primal percussion tambourines, cowbells and such to the sound. At its least restless moments, the track settles comfortably into a funk groove and rides it until its natural end before breaking out or breaking down into a percussion-driven rhythm. From Side A to B, the song has been completely transformed and is nearly un-Earthly at its most intense, full-fledged stride.

Sorry Nuremberg!!!

The weather played havoc with our travel plans at the weekend.
A snowstorm in Hamburg led to all flights being cancelled on Friday,
thus making it impossible for us to get to Nuremberg to play in the Rakete.
We will do everything we can to reschedule the gig as soon as possible.

The outcome is an outstanding double cd compilation that is a musical reflection of the two eau de parfums created by Silke Wilhelm and koweSix: Lucent & Embrace. An experience of a personal collection of highly tasteful lounge, electronic and house music. Work it Baby is one of the last remaining and most famous French House Labels around.It was founded in 2000 by world-renowned Producer and DJ, Kris Menace, who initially started the label to release tracks for his friends. He has since also started the hugely successful Compuphonic label.

One of the exclusive tracks featured on their recent and fabulous "Save The Night!" mix compilation, Moonbootica‘s "The Ease" is the next bomb to drop on Moonbootique Recordings. Throwing massive house, tough electronic disco and tweaked out filter action into a giant melting pot of peak time perfection, "The Ease" grabs our attention with sharp, tightly tuned drums leading towards a monster party bassline that flies through several tense climaxes. Fukkk Offf‘s tough remix raises the bar with chunky,bass-heavy drums, and a more sinister groove that leans towards the maximal end of the spectrum. Still peaking, still party, this more acidic version shows off the extreme virtues of Fukkk Offf as a remixer!
